Robert Stanford-Tuck - T-shirt

Stanford-Tuck joined the Royal Air Force in 1935, with his first experience of combat over Dunkirk during the Battle of France. As a Squadron Leader he commanded a squadron of Hurricanes that participated in sorties over northern France during the early part of the war. He was shot down in 1942 and was taken prisoner. This design celebrates Tuck as a Fighter Ace with 29 destroyed to his name, but he was part of the RAF that was served by many men and women who were all heroes. Thanks to Andy Perkins of the 'Spitnuts' Facebook Group who provided the research for these designs.
